My first visit to the LA Flower Market was breathtaking. My senses were on overload! I was intoxicated by the pollen in the air and was as giddy as a school girl at the sight of the plethora of colorful and unique blooms. The smell of roses, lilacs, and carnations filled my nose. My love and appreciation for the beauty of this treasure trove have not gone stale. But lately my visits are less exhilarating.
I find that now, rather than getting lost in this wonderland of creative possibility; I instead run around looking for the exact selections I need to fill my next order, held by the constraint of staying on track and focused on the next event.
Today I reminded myself to STOP....and take in the beauty around me. And now I get to share the beauty with you!
Never stop enjoying what you love. And don't forget to stop and smell the roses along the way.
