January included a lot of really beautiful events for the SY & Co. team, and Jenni and Jason's timeless black and white design at the Montage Laguna is one of our favorites.
The ceremony took place on the lawn at the Montage and featured a very clean, crisp, visually appealing design. Black and white were the primary colors used- but of course, we had to throw some boxwood in there to bring in the organic look the client was looking for.
The aisle was lined with white boxes with black trim treatments and lush white florals. The chuppah sat atop a similarly designed stage with white molding and black trim accents. On the sides of the stage stood tall crescent arrangements on top of mirrored columns.
The entrance to the reception featured a beautiful boxwood wall and freestanding mirrored escort display. We meticulously added a black trim treatment to our oversized frames and then applied a decal that was uniquely monogrammed "J&J."
A 10ft garland ran the length of the top of the frame and cascaded down asymmetrically where it met the scattered boxwood balls, floating candles, white phalaenopsis blooms, silver dollar eucalyptus, and bay laurel.
Jenni & Jason opted to drape the entire ballroom in white with coordinating white carpet- which gave us a beautiful blank slate to work with. Their sweetheart table sat in front of a very organic, overgrown, and elegant backdrop. Against a backdrop of boxwood, we hung three crystal chandeliers mixed with illuminated glass orbs. White pillars with black trim treatments supported multiple lush white arrangements with more floating candles and white orchid blooms. Gorgeous!
